  • Yes, fellow pickers.... at 01:44 he said "50 times a day." Even at 1 minute per round that's almost an hour on one tune each day...and he's a professional musician. That's often the difference between the best of us and the rest of us.

    Thanks, Ben!

  • @nomorepushingusdown It took me 3 days of playing it 50+ times a day to get this version absolutely perfect...when I get set on something, I don't quit (to my wife's demise :). She could probably whistle this version note for note! Ha!

  • @BanjoBen1 Lol The wive's gotta love when us musicians play something over and over and over! HEHE Great video Ben! How long ya been married?

  • @juzanordinaryguy I've been married a little over 5 years now...and she's awesome! It's funny, though. She says that when I play she doesn't even hear it any more. She's just blocked it out. Haha!

  • Hey Ben, and fellow pickers, Do any of you use Elixer Strings? I do,, and I will never go back. Also, If you wan't one of the best sounding box guitars in the world,,TRY THE MARTIN DX-1 I have never found a guitar that sounds this good. Well,, Mine does anyway. Thanks Ben.

  • @vpieper Ah.. Right .. the Purple Hulls.. Off to buy your album Ben.. ! Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

  • What's the name of the song in the end?

  • Its actually not too hard to play without the capo. You stay in the C position, over the D key, just have to get all 4 fingers going over the scale.

This is one of the best major scale exercises ever. Love it when my hand hurts this much.

    Thanks Ben!

  • for the folks commenting on the guitar; Sawlon shows his off too. nice crispy sound...
