i have it 2 weeks and i tell you its very very practical, slick and handy. When more apps for touch tech develope it will be even better i used it with vista but when i upgrated to windows 7 it was like a revelation to me!!!! i recomend it without doubt! also,(cause i'm a dj) it's great for virtual Dj or Tracktor, It made my life soooooo much easier

I suppose you would like to know that you can use a mouse with it and it has a remote.

i think its a fun pc, just take it for what it is, if you don't like it don't buy it, i personally plan on getting me one cause i like it, no pc is perfect they all have their flaws no matter how flawless they may appear

I actually have a laptop, and do watch movies w/ it when I'm at the airport or when I travel. It's usually in front me =) How bout you? Do you set your laptop 15 feet away from you?
This is not a standalone 47 inch TV that you need to be at least 15 feet away. Although I myself am not a fan of this. I wouldn't stand the smudges, but to those who like that almost reality experience in moving files around with their fingers, this would be a good device for them. Nothing wrong with options.

this is a media centre PC your meant to watch media from it, many people use PC's like this (not like this in the hp touch smarts case) as their TV, ever heard of a student?
Wake up and smell the cornflakes, the touchscreen on this is one of the biggest cheesiest gimmicks that I wouldn't be surprised if crackers come with it...

Ummmm, this is not a TV set my friend. It's a PC. Unlike your TV, you don't set your PC on a TV stand and sit 15 feet away on a sofa, but in front of you w/in arms reach.

oh goodie! instead of seeing all my media from the sofa with a remote, i can just walk up to it everytime to change the app or tv channel! Honestly, the is the wrong technology, in the wrong market. Remote/ wireless keyboard and mouse > less than capabale touch screen.
