Obama DNC Los Angeles Fundrasier Demonstration - Lt Dan Choi

President Obama visited Los Angeles, CA the day after Day of Decision, the day the CA Supreme Court upheld Proposition 8, for a Democratic National Committee fundraiser. LGBT and allies took the opportunity to show support for Obama's views on LGBT equality, and demonstrated outside the Beverly Hilton, the venue for the fundraiser.

However, a reminder to Obama and his administration was made about campaign promises made to the LGBT population and their lack of any steps being taken for fulfill those promises.

We want to hear from our President.

We want FULL FEDERAL EQUALITY.

Lt Dan Choi will more than likely do more in his life than most of us....he's an activist, fearless, educated, smart, and looking beyond himself. He said the translation may be translated different. If he really wanted to speak the truth, he'd mention that gay oppression is put forward by ancient religious text that oppressed gay people merely bc they were a minority.....yet, gays seem to never go away.

people get too hyped up on emotionalistic sensationalism and dont know facts, truth, and can't be bothered with those inconveniences.

ie. his interpretation of the bill of rights is that we must fight for our 'rights', no matter who we are. that's skewed. those rights are for US citizens, and yes, we need to keep the gov't in check to preserve our rights - some are inherent and some are granted by our constitution. interesting that he's selectively forgetting about those the WH is quashing.
