So you clean a beach and wait few days and the sea brings more finds? how does it works?

I have returned several rings to their owners, usually class rings. It isn't that easy, however. A lot of schools won't help out. HH!

@1954compass Hey there,have you had the luck to find any owners yet? Great to see you care about it,it would be so great for them to see their long gone rings,etc,back.

It depends on the conditions but if I only took 1 detector with me it would be the Excal. It is more versatile for a number of different situations. HH!

The Excal is considered one of the best beach water detectors by many. I like it or the Dual Field for just about any water and wet sand condition. HH!

What are these scoop spades actually called? do you make them yourself or buy them from somewhere?

@Nasase
Hi there! They are just called sand scoops, beach scoops or water scoops. I've purchased a couple of them from RTG- Reilly's Treasured Gold. HH!

I can't say that I understand all the factors but I believe that in this particular hunt the targets were being washed out of the sand. Sometimes, however, I think that heavy surf will actually wash items in from the sea. HH!
