@Alazerith megadeth is very good
in fact they are my first metal band
and they are versatile since they appeared in a daffy duck cartoon
and still looked as heavy as ever

@thosava Well, Metallica is the best selling metal band...but they've got so much disappointment on their hands that they are not even close to being as good as Maiden anymore. Heck, I consider Megadeth to be a better thrash metal band now. At least their music is consistent in good quality.

@Alazerith And if we consider AC/DC, KISS, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith and Van Halen as Hard Rock bands, then Iron Maiden is the second best selling Heavy Metal band of all time. Right after Metallica, which is really not Heavy Metal, but Thrash Metal!

Iron Maiden truly is the greatest band in the world today:
- together for over 30 years
- continuously do tour after tour around the world
- continue to write new material that is always outstanding
- never disappointed their fans with a shitty album (I consider Virtual XI to be average since half the album was actually very good)
- Every band member is world rank talented in their instrumental genre
- have helped shape and influence metal
No band can claim to have all these, UP THE IRONS!
