About 18 years ago I was younger in NJ I worked with law enforcement and had some great life learning experiences with the exposure to the FBI and other police and school systems. I am a work at home dad and used to work for the Government three years ago before they has some cutbacks which caused layoffs for many people working for the Educational System, Law Enforcement, and many other government type jobs. About two years ago I started my own online business which involves helping educate other people about online safety and also how to eat healthier foods and stay in shape. I have also brought my web designing skills back to life since I used to make websites for fun when the internet just started getting popular many years ago. I have introduced my computer skills to the local school systems and taught many students about how to be creative with graphic arts and web designing along with teaching them about online safety and safety in the home.
I used to be like many Americans who had to work away from home working 40 to 60 hour weeks and not getting paid enough for those hours. I tried other avenues in employment prior to teaching and working for the government. Before I discovered myself long ago I was a retail manager for an electronics store. The pay was pretty good but the scheduling just took my life away but I did not mind since at that time I did not have kids. Years later I decided to get into construction and I then became an electrician for a huge construction company. That was a great opportunity for me but the catch was that I would have to travel is necessary to other places in the country. I did not mind at that time. Years later I got married the I had my first baby on the way. I thought hard about things. I felt that I needed to make a career change so that I can be there for my kids. From then on I decided to stay at home and sell electronics on eBay and got searching for wholesale deals and reselling on eBay. That was doing real well and I was spending all my time with my first born daughter. After she turned 5 I wanted to home school her but my wife apposed that and I did not want to argue so I took a change and enrolled her in the public school. I became a very involved parent in the school. I went to her class every other day and I helped the teacher with reading to the students. I then become a PTO vice president and from there I became a school teacher where I was able to teach various subjects and see my daughter during school hours as well as after school hours.
A few years later I had my second daughter. She was not old enough for school so I had to have some family help to watch her while I was in school teaching. A bout a year later their were some reduction in staff and my hours were cut back to about 2 times a week so I only needed someone to watch my youngest daughter for 2 days out of the week. That was great for about the next couple of years until there were some more cutbacks which meant that I was not longer working for the schools until they had more government funding and the economy improves.
After all that I am now happy at what I do and enjoy being there to raise my daughters and enjoy all that life offers. My kids are my life and I can't imagine how life would be without them. My kids make me look forward to every waking day.
This is how much of a bond I have with my kids. We are inseparable! I raised my kids the best I can and protect them the best I can and offer them love, emotional and financial support that they need to enjoy their lives to the fullest.
