On a trip to Rwanda, explore had the opportunity to visit four families of wild mountain gorillas, a species with only 720 remaining members. Their guide is Craig Sholley, who has been intimately involved in the preservation of African wildlife for more than 30 years. The team's thrilling interaction with these peaceful creatures - who share 98.6% of their genetic makeup with humans - is a startling reminder of their own humanity. Distributed by Tubemogul.

  • Strange logic:

Gorilla has the strength of approximately 10 men. It almost never uses it, unless you count being provoked or using it for foraging.

Man is nowhere near as strong as a gorilla, yet it infinitely more aggressive.

We have knowledge, yet we are by our nature destructive.

Gorillas have raw strength, yet are by their nature peaceful.

We destroy their and other animal's habitats, yet we claim they are violent?

    Human logic is illogical.

  • human.. 98,6 gorillas must be the title.

  • Amazing stuff. Best footage and commentary on Gorillas in the wild.

ALSO, WHY do people have to go "disliking" videos like this. I have people disliking my videos & i do not understand it. I am going to have to contact YOUTUBE to GET RID of the DISLIKE BUTTON. Is there anyway to dislike the dislike button? lol.

  • I absolutely loved it.All I can say is "More, more,more.BRAVO."

  • muito bom., brasil

  • Comments sections is full of over-simplifications and generalizations. Like every other video's comments relating humans to other animals. Surprise surprise.

  • Combining science like this, the truth of life, and religion, the truth of spirit, will help save us all. If you agree, go to Google and search The Truth Contest, then click on the first result, then click on The Present. Both worlds can now be combined in search of Truth.

  • @windowzombie Humans logic is mostly very illogical. We often do things and often contradict ourselves with such behavior.

Example: humans kill aligators, skin them and use its skin to make boots and bags yet we call them monsters and killers.

Or again, gorillas have raw strength yet are very peaceful. We have knowledge yet we misuse it for more aggressive desires.

Yeah, for me it is definitely illogical. To others it's not.

But yeah, it depends on one's morality.

  • @supereldinho I think humans are the most logical, although not the most moral. Gorillas don't have the level of morality humans hold. But for the good person, being shitty is illogical, right?
