Just a tip from me the non professional....I've gone from perm to natural quite a few times. Daily moisturizing and a bit of olive oil works wonders. I just buy the moisturizer that we'd use if we had a curl at least twice a day and i stay away from hair oil as it seems to break my hair off when I'm transitioning. I also only use a wide tooth comb. No brushing at all. And i wash my hair only when necessary so that the natural essential oils have a chance to strengthen my hair.

you're beautiful...
I like how you're a video that answer questions can you please answer mine? I have relaxed mt hair millions of time but I want to go natural. Any tips? Is it even possible since I relaxed it? I'm only 13 and my hair is like up to my ears. I think it would look better natural. Any details? Please help!

@cute2chic Hi, I'm glad to know that you have an interest in going natural! It is possible to transition from a relaxer to natural hair but since it can be challenging, you will need the support of your parents or guardian and someone who can encourage you. I suggest that you continue to follow others on their natural hair journey. Check out the video by Nikkimae2003 called, Natural hair Lessons Learned Part 1, she talks about doing your research before you go natural. Hope this helps! Thanks!

I'm new to this transitioning thing....could you tell me where I could purchase organic coconut oil, and does it smell good?
naunii77 1 year ago
@naunii77 I purchased the organic coconut oil at "Whole Foods" in the section of the store that sells cooking oils. If you do not have a Whole Foods store, you might find it at a store that sells natural foods and products. As for the smell, it has a light natural coconut scent. : )
