I saw KWS live in Coffs Harbour NEw South Wales Australia several years ago and thought to my self that if Jimmi handed the flame to Stevie Ray V then SRV surley handed it on to KWS. It was an amazing night of great blues. The Fender Twins he played that night were perfect for great tone he generated. I think saying one player is better than another when they are all at an elite level is too difficult to support. They're all great and inspire those of us who play but a t a level more mundane.

@theblues45 Bonamassa is not overrated he is amazing just like kenny wayne shepherd
You cant compare bonamassa to shepherd cause there both different styles
Both play blues yeah but both sound different on guitar

Are you people ignorant? Why is everybody alway comparing one artist with another. Styles vary and Kenny has been playing since he was 6 and has earned his place in the industry. He is an awesome talent..I've been following him since his first cd, and I have no doubt he will have a long and successful career in music.

I think kenny will learn!, it is not the guitar playing but the song that is truly the blues!! For when you believe in what your singing the guitar will follow. Its great to see that he have taken the next step in music career. I will be watching with keen ears!!!!

@m2885the4th theres the comment ive been looking for...i agree b/c mayer is more versatile style wise. kenny's acoustic stuff never attracted only his electric. but mayer kills both ends of the spectrum
