  • My next favorite Roger Moore Bond after For Your Eyes Only is either The Spy Who Loved Me or A View To A Kill. What do you think of AVTAK, honestly?

  • @Wadsy591 I liked AVTAK quite a lot, the one word that always springs to mind for me when I think of it though is "wierd". It's just so bizare yet, feels very run of the mill Bond at the same time it's really strange. I think it works well though! I love Patrick MacNee in it and I love the score too! How do you feel about Grace Jones and Walken in it?

  • "I'll buy you a delicatessen in stainless steel!"

  • I still think the Margaret thatcher scene is just a weird dream conjured up in collaboration between myself and some really screwed up fuck...

  • Don't listen to the haters, keep doing your reviews your way. It's clear you're a true Bond fan and I for one appreciate the humour.

  • What IS a delicatessen? Wikipedia told me it was a food market or something.

  • Roger Moore acually agrees with you about the weird end scene. In his autobiography (My Word is My Bond) he mentioned how he though it was very strange they added the end scene since the film was going to be more serious than the other Roger Moore films

  • She still has a VAGINA, lol.... That is the funniest line you've said :P

  • Thankyou thankyou quoted by good ole max

  • @RMormon lol irl

  • A reason why Bond doesn't sleep with Lynn-Holly Johnson's Bibi Dahl: She is 15 years old.

However, you can argue that since Bond isn't in the U.S., he MIGHT have gone ahead and 'did it' anyway in other circumstances...

  • I actually like this film, sure it is not as exciting as The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker but it is refreshing to see a more grounded story after those two. This movie is part of the reason that Roger Moore is my favorite Bond actor, it showed how versitle is Bond is, he handled the darker elements better in this film than in The Man With The Golden Gun. The Moore films have the most uniform quality overall and thus it is hard to rank them. The movie is grounded and yet exciting at times.
