  • How much will it cost to duracoat my pistol two colors? I don't see a kit for two colors.

  • @Mrillwill84

Since we do not offer a two-color kit, what we recommend for you to do in this situation is to purchase a Shake 'N Spray kit in one of the colors you want. The Preval Sprayer in the kit can spray up to 12oz of DuraCoat so it is reusable after being cleaned. So, simply purchase the kit and then also purchase a 2oz of DuraCoat Reducer to clean the sprayer and a 4oz bottle of the other color you'd like. The 2oz DuraCoat Reducer is $4.50 and the 4oz DuraCoat is $17.95.

  • What color Duracoat was used in the making of the video?

  • @devilrobrob

The color used was #79 Magpul Flat Dark Earth.

  • Do I need to wear a dust mask to use this stuff ? Ventilation? can I spray it in the basment? how toxic is it and how easy to wash of my hands and clean-up overspray? Is it flamable ? What other surfaces can I paint with it ....metal wood ceramic's rubber?

  • @duffywoodshaus

DuraCoat is somewhat toxic so wear your approved mask. Wear latex or some other synthetic gloves to protect your hands. DuraCoat is permanent. It will have to wear off your hands. DuraCoat can be used on metals, wood, plastic, optics, or just about anything. We do not recommend DuraCoat on rubber though.

  • Great product. I've done three projects with these kits, one camo for my shotgun, one HK Black for my AK 47 and one desert mirage tan for my Kel Tec P11. All three turned out great, they looked like they were done by a professional. Customer service is great too. Always helpful. Thanks for a great product.

You should wear a NIOSH approved respirator. We have them on our website and in our catalog, part #99. Ventilation is still required when wearing an approved respirator. You can spray most anywhere, but ventilation is always required. Also remember that DuraCoat is flammable so make sure that there are no open flames, i.e. gas water heater with standing pilot.

  • great channel and products..
