here's a snack for thought:
just because we criticize the chinese govt, does not mean we don't also criticize the american govt. in america, we have the fundamental RIGHT to critique our govt, and create change when it is needed. hence the election of mr. barack obama.
we do not go to jail for dissent, we are not killed or tortured for dissent. dissent in america put a president in office. dissent in china appears to have differing results all together...

It is hard to wake up when the whole world is sucking up to the communist regime and giving them money.
Just look at Britain, self proclaimed Just government, freaken hand Hong Kong to Communist China when majority of the pre-1997 population in Hong Kong support the Republic of China just hand us to the PRC without asking how does the civilians first. Not to mention, under CCP's urgings, torn down quite a few villages raising ROC flags prior to handover and try to cover it.

CCP killed more Chinese than Japanese killed Chinese. CCP killed over 80 million Chinese alone plus 1 million Tibetans, plus thousands of others. WAKE UP CHINESE! WAKE UP!

Hi christina Chan thank you so much for support to Tibet and I will never ever forget it. then I saw you in Honking during the Olympic in china you were protest to china and the police arrested you and also I listened to your spook for Free Tibet and I was cry so many times because of you got so many terrible by Tibet. anyway the Buddha bless you all the time. From NY.

also, in regards to protesting racism or guantanamo bay, i would happily join you. once i went to a protest in th capital of america to close guantanamo bay - instead of being arrested or ridiculed or told not to mess with our countries 'internal affairs', we were shown into the offices of our leaders to speak with them - and because americans dissented like this, president obama will be closing guantanamo bay next year. what do you think china will do with your citizens once they get them back?
-
but you could protest on the streets of our cities if you wanted, provided you got a license and went through legal pathways. you're welcome to say whatever you want. and besides, in china, there are anti-american protesters all the time - and more power to them! allowing dissenting opinions is the sign of a country secure enough in its own policies that it can tolerate differing point of views. additionally, when individual countries commit crimes against humanity, it's everyone's affair.

have you ever seen chinese anti-america protestors in the street of your country ? Do we criticize about ur race problem? abusing prisoner? no, because we can't ,it's ur internal fair. But do you know 17 Uighur Chinese citizens remain imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay ?
escap?murder? that's happen because the culture revolution ,not only the tibet people ,also lots of chinese died, that's all past my friend, any country might made mistakes, world war , white hates black, but life still continous, don't let youself stuck in 50s,60s, look the changes in China, i m chinese, i can feel how much oversea tibetans miss their homeland , when i was in UK years ago , i always had dreams about China. 6millions tibetans lives in China, they make China strong.

Have you not read the news in the last 50 years? Or even in the last week? ...And I don't been mainland censored propaganda.
Oppression, forced sterilisation, mass migration, suppression of political dissent, false imprisonment, violence and a lack of freedom of speech and religious expression are all happening right now.

What about 9/11 being an inside job? American illegally invaded Iraq, killed over a million of innocent Iraqis, do you care about their freedom? If you are a true fighter for freedom, how come you never say a word about the freedom for the people of Iraq?
Go fight for the freedom where people truly needed you most...stop being a puppet for the evil American Empire...
