Since his writing/directing debut with the critically acclaimed Reservoir Dogs, Tarantino went on to receive an Academy Award® and Golden Globe Award for his groundbreaking original screenplay, Pulp Fiction. He has since created such works as the screenplay for Oliver Stones Natural Born Killers (1994); directed the fourth segment of the film Four Rooms; wrote and directed Jackie Brown (1997); wrote and directed Kill Bill, Vol. 1 (2003) and Kill Bill, Vol. 2 (2004); in 2005 he was credited as special guest director with Robert Rodriguez and writer-director Frank Miller of Sin City, and teamed up again with Robert Rodriguez to direct Grindhouse (2007). His recent feature film, Inglourious Basterds, is the World War II epic which he wrote and directed and stars Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz, Michael Fassbender, Eli Roth, Diane Kruger, Daniel Bruhl, Til Schweiger, and Mélanie Laurent. Employing pulp and propaganda in equal measure, Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds weaves together the infamous, oppressed, real and larger-than-life stories of WWII. • Kirk still looks strong

  • 94 and counting

  • @Mixarenan Actually i've gotten quit good about that, i USED to type in all caps by really fast holding the SHIFT key before every word but my typing skills have gotten better LOL

  • @TitanicMatthew how do you write with all capital letters?

  • @Hudsucker94

It's not sick. The man at one time looked like a Greek god (no pun intended given one of his most famous roles was as the Roman slave, Spartacus), was a phenomenal actor, has done a lot for American film, and as a philanthropist has helped lower class kids with his wife Anne. It's very sad to see anybody, much less a man who was a good person end up as a stroke victim. It's not an insult, it's an observation and an expression of sympathy for him and his friends and family.

  • man, you people are sick reffering to him as being "sad/in a sad state"....

  • Kirk was brilliant in his prime and to see him in this state.. is really sad.. Michael Douglas ain't got nothin on him talent wise. Kubrick used Kirk perfectly and brought out the genius.

  • god must be loved him so much

  • Ya he's 94 years old.

  • Kirk Douglas used to be so vital & Dashing, I hate to see him this way. I'm still glad to see him around & involved.
