I have now seen this show on Broadway, so now I can honestly agree with Gillian Lynne that this is indeed a bloody good show! :)

I've seen the movie a few times and I saw the Musical for the first time last summer-Phantom is incredible no matter what form it takes

I've only ever seen the dvd version of phantom of the opera... and honestly, it wasn't my favorite. *Ducks as an assortment of objects gets thrown at me"
I said the same thing about hairspray though, and after seeing it live, it's become one of my favorite musicals. I'm sure the live version is better then the movie.
