this movie sucked, had nothing to do with marines or anything. the only legitimate usmc scene was the beginning, and when he got discharged. but the main story of this movie was a guy saving his wife from evil people, so cliche. it's weird how he called himself the marine when his biography says nothing about him being one. and why the fuck is he wearing those dress blues when he's a civilian!? i'm about to become a marine, & i know damn well i won't be wearing it until i have earned the title

John Cena should have been The Captain America in the upcoming new version, instead Chris Evans. Cena was perfect for Steve Rogers! Nobody noticed that? It was very clear to me when I saw "The marine". Besides, in the comic books, The Cap is enormous (like him) , and is very similar phisically, even in the old comics.

I hope someday we can see John Cena in superhero movie.

I wasn't disappointed with this film cause all modern films are weaker than in the 80's and 90's. The Marine was modern version of Rambo, Commando, Die Hard etc. Action scenes were brilliant, John Cena can't act but who cares if you are such a good-looking, strong man. Schwarzenegger never showed nice acting. Manu Bennett was great 2. This film is one of my favorite Non-stop-action films of the 2000's (along with The Condemned (2007), Shoot 'Em Up (2007), Eagle Eye (2008), The Tournament (2009)

if this movie was made by Bruckheimer Productions then it would definately make it to the box office because bruckheimer knows how to make his movies right WWE is a bunch of crap i liked this movie but they coulda done a lot better especially with the bad guys bc its stupid that there was like 5 theives kidnapping the wife while dressing like businessmen i mean thats fuckin stupid and tacky they should have been like domestic terrorists or a neo nazi group bc this film takes place in the south

This was supposed to be Kurt Angle's movie, but he ended up leaving the WWE before filming...
