  • Can I ask you where you are from originally? I keep picking up a number of different accents and dialects.

  • @Villainy03 hong kong

  • I don't agree. I love make up stores eyeshadows. And mostly cause I find them easy to blend and work with??(beautiful colours, pigments)

My favourite before Mac and Inglot

  • @charla939 maybe i'm using them incorrectly? perhaps i should try NOT using an eyeshadow primer?

  • went there yesterday and i was pretty impress with thier pigments everything really i was actually heading to the mac pro store but i ended up buying most of the things i needed from there instead lol, but mac still my favourite

  • @makeupbygloria yeah i think the pigmentation is good, but i just find them so hard to blend! well at least they work for some!

  • I've used the microshadows for a long time and love them! I've actually never had the problem with they're being had blend. (I use the urban decay primer posion as a base and it works really well with the shadows. :) )

  • I use the m.u.s eyeshadows and im so in love with it because of the generous amount of product and i dont seem to have any problems blending it with the use of urban decay shadow potion. :)

  • I've recently become a fan of the microshadows as well, I have them in several colours now. I've never really experienced them as 'hard to blend', I find them rather easy to work with actually and I also use the Too Faced shadow insurance with them. For the gey, i think "Velvet" is also better and more pretty, and their highlight colours like 'muffin' and 'sibiria' are soooo pretty! I use them every day now.

  • I agree, but I still love the shadows, I use a Make up store High Tech Lighter as a base and it works amazing (for me atleast) But when I try using a primer under the shadows they will not blend at all, Really weird :)

  • @Xyne8 hiyaa very informative thanks!

  • @makeupbygloria If you want give Make Up Store's a try. They carry two yellow eyeshadows - one matte, a Microshadow named Lemon (needs a primer) but with good pay-off and one Cybershadow named Ra, has a slight sheen to it as it is lightly metallic.

I'd recommend Lemon for the greatest colour-payoff but Ra's i easier to blend.

Clarins used to carry one called Banana but it had a sheer pay-off and needed alot of lays and a coloured base.

I know Shiseido has a shimmery yellow as well.

  • @shampoop118 i havnt tried out blending them yet i just swatched it on my hand and was like yeah thats what i need lol but gona try them and see how they blend out with different brands and see, hey am looking for a really good matte yellow that i wont need to pack on the colours to get a really bright look, i have tried yellows from soo many other brands but they all come out the same, am still searching any recommendations?
