This is the first of a series of digital shorts, directed by Jeremiah O'Flaherty, Creative Director for Gears of War. They are a combination of live-action, CG and actual game art.

Hawken is a free-to-play FPS mech combat game scheduled for launch on 12.12.12. It is the first title to come from indie developer, Adhesive Games, and publisher, Meteor Entertainment.

Why do people keep making dumb comments about the oiled axe saying. Swords and axes intended for combat use oil on the blades to prevent rust and keep the sword clean. Even today it's used on high quality ones, such as the Bugei kitana I have. While I know this from owning swords, are people too lazy to google these days?
