  • Oh no! Those poor flutists!!! This is likely the hardest orchestral music for flute ever, did you know? That speed is a definitely suicidal for them.

    I would give them a bonus.

  • The flutes are completely beasting! What's even more amazing is when the camera shows them playing, their faces and their body language makes them seem like they're playing the most simple scale ever! They rock!

    Seriously, he wrote the most unplayable stuff for flute. The story goes how the arppeggios in his Peter and the Wolfe were actually physically impossible because of the maximum speed which the flute keys can move...
