very ignorant indeed .. Since when do prisoners get to be paid slave wages while taking work away from honest Americans? Since when do private corporations get to take advantage of prisoners at the expense of American jobs? Sure give them training but dont take jobs away from honest people. That's just a tiny aspect of this usary that you seem to applaud in your ignoramous view of reality. You're either very stupid IQ below 90 , mentally ill or just plain evil.

The government will keep inventing more laws to make criminals out of good people. What is legal today will become a crime tomorrow. From the view of the control freaks the prison system is for all of the people!

Do you think they will ever want to loose that? Do you undertand the implications. No because you are ignorant. When you make profit as your priority there will be abuse.

My husband is in his 19th year in prison in New York wrongfully convicted. 1 out of every 100 Americans is serving a prison sentance. Either we breed the most evil people on the planet or something else is going on !

@hijackednation yeah, im planning on leaving the US in about 2 years from now to go live in brazil. the cost of living there is so cheap too.

So why should I care? These are not innocent people, these are people who rape and murder and sell drugs to kids. These are people in gangs, they are common thugs. They aint where they are because they are boy scouts. If they deserve better than they get, go live with them. I dare you. You wouldn't have the guts to be locked up with them and you know it. Stop being such a bleeding heart and get real. You know you don't want these assholes running free.

Actually even before African slavery Europe was on top, it always has been, that's how they could afford to take over the slave trade. The original slave traders were in the middle east, then in the 1400s it was handed over to Europe.
You can't say that is why they were and are powerful, Europe is powerful through natural resources, democracy, and the rule of law.
Now I know many blacks like you feel angry about the past, but don't spread lies just to get your way.

@xxNephlimxx A slave that others profit off of at expense to the working class? Also the definition of criminal can be one who fails to comply with a corrupt law. I take it you will call America the best place to live and ignore corruption that has made it and will make it a bad place to live. According to you we should ignore corruption and shy away from being vigilant because America is so great? America has the highest prison population and it is not the greatest place to live.

@eltotoloco69 It looks like this is going to be real bad one too. A inflationary depression. The only way I can see to stop it from going inflationary is tariff all imports (which they city of londoners will not allow) and bring back manufacturing and production. Think about this 2 islands 1 island produces tangible items witha trained and skilled workforce the other island produces very little. Both islands have paper money , which island's money is going to have the most value and stability?
