Comprised of founding members, Maurice Kitchen, Torre Brannon Reese and Kwame Alexander, over time, these core associates have teamed up with Anthony Snead and Charles (Sonny) Banks of the trio, "Banks Epps and Snead" as well as various other individuals from a stable of ten singers, to form a group of five; creating a unique and consistent sound that has delighted audiences in colleges, clubs and various venues throughout Los Angeles and its collar communities.

  • Hi guys. Thanks to all of you for your comments, please note that we have continued to build and expand as a group, as artists, and as preservationist of street corner a`capella, doo wop music. Check out our latest offerings, and the name change, which is actually an expansion to "Street Corner Renaissance". Punch in Street Corner Renaissance, and check out our latest songs on our new CD, "Life Can Be A Dream". We did Frankie & johnny and a couple of Gospel gems re; Soul Stirrers.

    Ok, keep on

  • so classicc. youll mess aroun nd die at the corner nowadayss

  • YOU GUYS ARE FANTASTIC,BUT HEY JUST A TASTE,COULD LISTEN ALLL NIGHT

  • That's the way!

  • Having sung with a group on the Detroit streets back in the day, I can appreciate the corner gathering and sweet harmonies. Nothing can compare to it--not with the styles of today, and I wouldn't trade those times for any others. Music was about love, good or sad times, or about plain old fun. Not too many messages back then. We left politics and anger and way-too-serious stuff back home, coming out like this for the sheer love of vocal music. "Oh, whoa, wooooooooaaaaaahhhh!!."

  • hard to bring this back

  • Brilliant! Wish I was in LA. I'm a Philly doo wopper. Keep singin'

  • Hi Ashley, thank you for the nice compliment; just to let you know, we are still doing our thing, back in the studio soon, working on a documentary and play. stay in touch..
