Why settle for a set-top Blu-ray player or "smart" TV with internet streaming when you can easily put together an *actual PC* for your living room that can do so much more?

Paul says no to compromise with two super-small HTPC builds, based on Mini-ITX motherboards from Zotac. These PCs are shoebox-sized and sip power, while remaining cool and quiet for your living room viewing pleasure.

  • @domaanator wow really? and i think your over exadurating

  • i thought micro atx was small but no mini itx is much smaller!

  • CAN I ASK WHY YOU CHOSE THEN NAME "THE NEW EGG"?

  • These seem so much cooler than a xbox. I bet they could do some light gaming like Portal 2 and other cool games.

  • \@ralfis1234 typical noob comment

  • Why you no remove power supply before the build to make your life easier?

  • you could do so much more with these kinds of cases now. Like you can put a core i7 2600k along with some low-profile graphics (if not full size assuming the case can fit it). There's a lot you can do with 250 watts of headroom considering the CPU at stock consumes 95 watts and a decent GPU would consume around another 100 watts.

  • could you put like a epic little graphics card in like pc-e x16 that will fit these cases

  • @ralfis1234 This is for a HOME THEATER PC.

  • @ralfis1234 So true. Anyone nowadays would go for a laptop than an underpowered desktop PC.
