i just finish the series...and somehow i am not at all satisfy with the ending...can it be that it is just too sad...but i have watch other series where most people died and i was okay with that........idk..somehow i am just really bother with the ending.........

annyway, i still love and enjoy it.

I agree the ending WAS very emotional / intense but neither directors nor fans/critics can decide on the ending for this drama because the storyline was based on an actual story in China's history..just knowing that it actually HAPPENED to this family in the past makes it even more emotional to watch lol =(

OMG IT JING ER N QI LANG. MY FAV COUPLE IN YWoYC. TO BAD THEY NEVER GOT TO BE TOGETHER. I love how qi lang die for his love for his family n his wife jing er.

I wonder if they would make an adaption to the other parts of this drama like in the past with the wives and the sister taking over?? I'd like to see it, if it will be better than the 90's because this one was way better than all the other one before it. Also i would like to know the title of the song when Qi Lang died??
