Yea it's the frickin paint dude. Stop being cheap and go buy some Marbalizers or something. I usually use marbs or premiums and my a5 will do 23 bps.

yeah id bet on it either monsterball or some other really tough paint. but ive played with monster ball (aka reaction) and chopped on semi 98 custom. im gonna find that vid and send you a link if i can. its worth a look.
ive seen a guy on youtube firing as fast or faster with no chops it sounding crazy maybe the right paint and barrel combination will make it happen.

My guess would be either Reballs or Monsterballs.

With the Tech-T Vortex, QEPH, and Squishy Paddles, this same A-5 is capable of 25 bps, but the cyclone starts popcorning any faster than that. This was just a test to prove a point , as I said before.

On the A5OG site, there is a guy who compared squishy paddles with stock and the squishy popcorned a bit less, not enough to really help but it did. I personally don't like the Squishy paddles because I don't believe they are as durable and may get deformed after awhile.

Mine have several dozen cases through them by now, and they still work great. The material they're made of is so springy, it doesn't really matter how much you deform it.

lower your psi and try better paint that might help

This was just a test to prove a point on a message board. I was using crap paint and shooting at ~600 psi. I've had success with high grade tourney paint at this ROF.
