  • @pirio This is beta version, available at huawei website

  • what kind of u8800 is that?is it the pro version? mine does not have 2 cameras

  • @ai8erovamon It's U8800 normal, with Official gingerbread release. this U8800 does not have 2 cameras

  • ok, Now the phone reboots as fast as yours :-). Still, when I put my hand above the light sensor, the lower buttons won't light up. With sensor test app I found the sensor works.

  • @dreetie84 capacitive buttons only light up when you use touch screen ;)

  • @X121087 also got the widget disappear problem..........

  • How did you update to gingerbread??

  • tried it, although enhanced user experience but:

    - corrupts the memory card, even a brand new one.

    - widgets disappear on restart &/or battery removal.

they promised a full version by the end of December, let's see.....

  • i put this on the at&t version of the phone in the us. it was nice until i realized the internet capabilities didn't work so i sent it back and said it just randomly started not letting me on. last time i use a beta update.

  • when i reboot, i keep getting bootloop, and if i flashed back again, it'll force close anroid.process...

  • @ai8erovamon Its simle u8800, and it doesnt have 2 cameras!

  • @SwatPT As I recall they automatically did with the light sensor on froyo. So in a dark space they would light up. But hey, that's not a big deal. I'm very pleased with the new version. Viber seems to work better too.
