Portal: Advanced Level 16

I received a couple requests from some people on the steam forums to make this movie depicting how I completed Advanced Level 16 in Portal.

I'm fairly confident that this method hasn't been uploaded yet, so I figured I'd share it with the world.

Note: This movie was horribly made in a matter of minutes (not including in-game time) which explains the crappy compression and audio. Hopefully you can tolerate that and enjoy the movie for what it's worth.

thank you so much lol i tried using the boxes the way you did but they kept hitting the button then going a little bit past it, so i ended up just throwing all the boxes in there and they eventually just piled up to the point where the last one hit the button

OMG i cant get the cube to fall on the button like you did ive already tried like 12 times

The positioning of the second portal is damn near the most critical factor in getting the cube to land on the button correctly. Other than that, it's where the cube is positioned prior to letting it go. I'm sure you'll get it sooner or later. :]

This level made me hate turrets.

easier way: instead of making the cube fall through the portal, simply put 2 cubes in front of the turret facing the entrance of the room with the button, then manually a cube on the button. didnt even get hit once

I wasn't able to throw my cube like you did. But with all the cubes near the button it created a wall, which I could hid behind and quickly place the cube manually.

I built walls with the boxes, took me like 30 min to do it but it was an alternative to this method rofl, the hard way :)
