GUIDING LIGHT - January 2009 "Just What He Needed"

Dinah lets herself into Shayne's motel room. Dinah wonders why Shayne didn't call her back the night before, and Shayne makes it obvious that he wants Dinah to leave him alone. Dinah thought they understood eachother, but Shayne tells Dinah he's angry with her for treating him like a project that needed fixing. A hurt Dinah leaves.

Shayne hears a knock at his door. He assumes it's Dinah, and tells them to go away. It's Jeffrey. What's he doing at Shayne's motel room? Jeffrey tells Shayne they'll find out.

Jeffrey brings Shayne to the community center, and gives him an offer to help counsel the troubled teenagers that visit the center. Shayne jokes around, but Jeffrey makes it very clear he's serious, and that he's doing it so that Shayne's problems won't become Reva's, who's already got too much on her plate. Shayne tells Jeffrey he's in.

Jeffrey runs into Dinah at Towers. She tells Jeffrey about her recent arguement with Reva about Shayne. Jeffrey shocks Dinah when he tells her he was able to get Shayne to start volunteering at the community center.
