  • The question about information gathering about injuries due to firearms... is bogus... no such language in the Senate bill. Boo-yah! That reporter is a shill for the Right.

  • Down in Fraggle Rock. Partying with the Muppets.

  • @The2009lover after what Bush got away with Obama is a saviour

  • Not sure how I missed the rare enlightened post my first few forays thru this discussion.

And foreign participation in US industry and property ownership cuts much more deeply than the oil and nat gas markets.

Private Chinese interests have controlled a former strategic Naval port at Long Beach Ca since the '80's so as to enhance their ability to import consumer goods across the Pacific Ocean. That is just one simple example of many.

The sell off of US assets began many many years ago.

  • So Gibbs wouldn't answer a few difficult questions.

From this excerpt (~13 to 16 1/2 mins in) I take it the whole Press Brief was an exercise in obfuscation.

  • That would be a good idea. Then we would both be talking about the same thing. He's being hectored by the reporter.

  • That's quite an assumption kc7fys.

I haven't the foggiest notion what you are objecting to, I didn't watch the entire clip. Just the first few minutes.

Your comment however revealed your own subjective analysis and that is what I attacked. The content of complaint and disagreement with political speech so often take familiar forms. No doubt my analysis of the situation is correct and your's is most likely sour grapes.

I'm not about to watch the whole thing, but I suppose I can ffwd to 14min in

  • Thanks for the 10% unemployment rate President Obama. Way to go Barry!!

  • Nope , Just can't spell and sleeping pill taken too early . Plus didn't proof read . Guess that old saying is true , opinions are like behind holes and everyone has one , but mine is miss-spelled " butwhole " ...lol

  • i completely agree with maskedphrogg obama is the president and should be allowed to do what he wants. well said maskedphrogg.

  • That wasn't what I objected to, and you know it.
