@Stlwrkr289 Preferably a church that preaches that you need church to truly make Jesus the core of your life, as well as one that preaches about their/God's need for 10% of your earnings.

@adambomb312 A relationship, sure.... with a religious figure. Who in order for one to have a relationship with, one must believe in his claims of deity, and in order to do that, must accept the religious backdrop that comes with those claims. So don't say "it's not religion, it's a relationship", say "it's religion WITH a relationship, ..which is just like any other religion: a way to connect to God. An ethos supported by a mythos. Your religious practices are not so unique or special.

@hjerkovi That's awesome, great to hear about brothers (or sisters, I don't know) who are passionate for Christ. I do recommend you find a church family to be in, but good on you!

Thank you, Pastor Washer, for taking the risk to put your heart out there to be trampled on and for telling the truth, even when no one seems to like it. I appreciate your heart so much. Thank you for weeding through the fluff and frills of Christianity today and getting to the heart of what the Bible says.
