  • @rebelutionary503 Excellent point. Just curious, what would your idea of an alternative be?

  • This speech parallels the MLK speach in its own way. Imagine! I have a dream! Revolutions rise!

  • @rebelutionary503 Great point!

  • Would any system which utilizes money as a medium of exchange be able to exist if science was allowed to flourish in the area of automation to the degree that human labor is no longer required to produce goods and services?

  • Patterns of machine automation over the last 300 years have been decreasing the necessity for human labor. This advance in technology is a result of science. Communism advocates a redistribution of wealth so that the working class can benifit from their labor. True scientific advancement would eventually eliminate the necessity of a working class through advanced automation. If the scientific method was allowed to flourish in all areas of society would a communist system even be able to exist?

  • Most of my young life I have been in the education system, in my experience school encourages apathy and slacking off. We need to give schools the value they deserve, and good teachers respect. I have been taught by bad, mediocre and good teachers, there is absolutly no overstating how big the difference on their impact on me has been. Education is not for the teachers to have a steady job, it is for the students to learn. Avakian's idea of guest speakers sounds really good to me.

  • That’s what the owners count on the fact that The Americans will probably remain woefully ignorant of the big red white and blue dick that’s being jammed up their ass holes every day. ~George Carlin~

  • Oh my, sounds like Star Trek! A world with out poverty, racism, sexism, exploitation, imperialism and environmental devastation! Who in their right mind would would to live in a world like that? Oh my God! Spock was a commie! I should have known by the pointed ears!

  • why are you holding up the soviet union and china as examples of how things could be better?

  • I am going to work on the idea to bring science to the world. I will dedicate all my time to bringing science to kids and adults of the third world. I didn't get a 4.0 GPA in science to work a in a factory swabbing walls for bacteria. The knowledge which I have accumulated must be shared. I just hope that I will have the courage and strength to do what I know must be done and is necessary!
