This video took place on Broadway between Sunnyside and Montrose at 12:00am technically on August 30th, 2008. If you try to pay close attention the woman at the beginning of the video is shouting that one of the officers had smashed her head against the wall. At the end of the video the police officers asked us to step away from them in order to protect their safety which they have a right to. However I would like to make two points about that One: at similar stops we have been allowed to remain much closer to the police and they haven't cared very much e.g. our last post and Two: pedestrians were allowed to move past the scene and even through the scene before the up to the end of the stop it was only us who were asked to move out of the way.

  • Good job, we need more concerned citizens like you in Chicago.

  • Lol, if the cops weren't doing anything wrong, they shouldn't have worried about the camera. chicago cops are a gang, they're not law enforcers.
