Heart4Kids Zimbabwe Mission Trip for African AIDS Orphans

Heart4Kids is a non-profit 501 3(C) organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of children around the world whose lives are shattered by the HIV/AIDS virus. Heart4Kids seeks to protect these children by providing them with food, clothing, educational and medical assistance,and above all hope.

2007 Annual Mission Highlight - Another Very Successful Zimbabwe Mission Trip

The Heart4Kids yearly mission trip took place in October of 2007. The trip consisted mostly of the distribution of supplies to children in Zimbabwe. In the near future, Heart4Kids will be building their own orphanage.
During this trip the Heart4Kids team was able to:
-- Visit well over 200 children including two orphanages and two schools in Zimbabwe
-- Share pen pal letters written by Atlanta-area children
-- Distribute donated items directly to the children in Zimbabwe
-- Encourage children volunteering at local orphanages
-- Begin the organization of the upcoming Kitchen Program

I'd love to do a mission trip so much. Most of the ones i've found charge ridiculous amounts of money though. Its sad. I suppose it would cost a lot to fly people to other countries though. I just wonder how much of the fee really goes for airfare and such... Anyways this looks awesome and these kids are adorable! Their so beautiful. =)

The airfare is very expensive. That is what drives the cost of the trips so high. Heart4kids trip includes airfare, accommodation, food and ground transportation while on the ground in Zimbabwe. The cost is $3250
