WOTG is the sequel to Frankenstein Conquers The World. The film sells on the theory that the Gargantuas were cloned from the cells of the Frankenstein Monster in the previous film. Not lab cloned, but evolved in the enviroments that created each creature.
The Japanese title of the movie is "Frankenstein No Kaiju: Sanda Tai Gaira." Translated, it means "Frankenstein's Monsters, Sanda versus Gaira." Sanda is the Brown creature, and Gairs is the Green one.
