  • Thank you from the USA. As far as I'm concerned, the only real BIRD dog there is is a Brit. They make the best of friends, too. Thanks again.

If you hunt with short-hairs, you dont understand Brits. I wont have a dog that runs out of control and have seen many birds lost to short-hairs that haul ass and miss birds. I have followed other hunters that had short-hairs and filled limits with Brittanies in half the time. They are much more methodical and easy paced.

This is an AWESOME video of classic Brittany!!

I'm guessing there may be gun restrictions and thats why no guns??

    Thanks!!

  • Ireland, you say? My brit lives and works in Montana, cold winters and she gets quite a coat. Good pheasant and grouse dog....I will neve own another dog for that purpose. Works slow, not to far ahead and I can keep up with her. Nice video.

  • What are you doing, you got to work that faster, get in their and flush the bird. He will learn to not hold point if he knows your not going to flush it. The way they chase after the flush is also bad, they need to hold until released. Those dogs are way to mature to need training. Why are they in the field if you don't have guns?

  • Thank you from the USA. I really enjoyed the part at starting at 1:55 or so. I have two Brits of my own. Yours are holding well. :) Cheers, Alex
