This is the exact same kata my school does though we are not a traditional Tang Soo Do school. This was an excellent performance for a kata and has helped me learn Cho-dan greatly. Dispite what some of the other people have said here from my training perspective it looks awesome and I'm sure has won at least a few trophies. There are a few minor differences in hand placing but I think that is just from an adoption of the style over the years. Thank you very much for posting this video!
He needs a lower stance... and needs to tuck his knee in further. >.< you could punch him square in the groin- jeeze. Forgot to cross his arms going into the hammer-fist. wrong hand placement right before the psudo, after the punch. its about quality, not how fast you do it. nice kei-up after the high blocks though. ^^ haha...
@juancruz1992 - Mr Blackbelt's forms are pretty different than Soo Bahk Do forms. He uses no waist and he's not down on his knees low enough. Forms are a way to display the quality of your form and he's going too fast.
@ExeterTKD idk i study tang soo do and this form it's a bit different than mine but what i know it's that tang sooo do and soo back do are ancient names for tkd
This is so close to black cat kenpo. It's just wierd lifting up your leg that high and putting your had behind your back with the four cat stances at the end. What style is this?
