why do the whites always prefer to look at Africa from the wrong lens. We dont do that about them. Slavery and shop now as nothing in common. Fine, u dont want to see what u ve back home but dont show things u wouldnt of ur home from Ghana

Hi Jamir,
Thanks for your question. As you know, Ghana has a long history of slavery and was the portal for slaves leaving Africa and going to the new world and Europe.
The point of showing the slave fort, which is very near to where the Black Stars surf , is to show the people can overcome their history as surfing has been empowering (the opposite of slavery) to Frankee and some of the other locals. I hope this makes sense :-)
