Apologies: no sound in the video. Must be a bug in the iPhone 3GS v3.0.0 firmware!
In this video you can first see a firework that explodes very soon after launch. This most likely is what caused the explosion to follow. The explosion begins roughly 30 seconds into the video.
This took place in Tofte, MN on July 4th, 2009. I recorded the event on my iPhone 3GS, approximately southwest of the launch site. I'd guess we were about 315-375ft away (I'm bad at estimating, but google earth gives me this estimate...)
or is it not cambride

Excellent Video! My video is from the other side on the Bluefin Bay shoreline. Feel free to add my sound track to your video.

My wife & our two young children witnessed this from 200 feet away near the boat ramp on the south side of the display. What a scary few moments!

We were sitting on the Bluefin Bay side of the rocks and I was able to capture the last 10-15 seconds or so on my camera. It should be up on YouTube momentarily. You'll be able to hear some of the panic in people's voices and see the silhouettes of folks running for cover!
