Certainly a most popular piece in the concert hall. What saddens me, is that outside of Symphonie Fantastique and Roman Carnival, much of Berlioz's music is neglected. Yet, we wrote amazing works like Harold in Italy, the Waverly Overture, Romeo and Juliet (the Balcony Scene one of his finest creations along with the delightful Queen Mab Scherzo), the Royal Hunt and Storm from Les Troyens and my personal favorite the Les Franc Juges Overture (his best overture). This is the true Berlioz.
