Foreign contingents join victory parade in Moscow (by RT)

A military parade to mark the 65th anniversary of victory in Great Patriotic War brought together troops from 13 countries on Moscows Red Square in front of war veterans and world leaders. Russias Armed Forces were represented by 11,335 personnel, who were joined by contingents from the UK, US, France, Poland, and CIS member states. Among the foreign units was a detachment of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards. Video by RT television.

@nrjelley Dont be daft. The queen is a token figurehead of the commonwealth and has no powers anymore. The commonwealth countries are just being polite. An any case.. I cant imagine west indian divisions rolling in to help, more like rolling up for a spliff. The US has 11 aircraft carriers and spends more on defence than the rest of the world COMBINED. As a Brit I say lets stop pretending we are a world power, our army is less than 100 thousand. Even north korea is 1 million strong.

The EU Armies are about as useful as tits on a fish and America has the highest defense expenditure in the world, all the while we keep slashing ours! We would get well and truly rolled over
