This is not about showboating.....when the Holy Spirit comes on you....you gotta move because it feels like fire on your bones. This is the old school way when the Holy Spirit shows up it touches the believers...and it used Aretha Franklin to usher itself in. This is how we used to do it when i was a kid and you could feel it was real and see the sincerity on the people's faces. I thank GOD for Aretha because she never showboats she just gets out of the way and allows the Holy Spirit to use her.

Aretha helped to usher the spirit of God in that service. I've heard her sing many times, but it had nothing to do with her ability to sing or not. Her spirit was in the right place and that's why the people had to go forth in praise after she was done. Sing on Aretha.
