Wife of "Kopbuster Barry" Cooper Arrested in Austin

Daily News @ http://RevolutionNews.US ~ Barry Cooper, who is well-known as the Texas drug enforcement officer who turned into an anti-prohibition advocate, has seen his wife arrested. She was subsequently transported to the Travis County jail.

31-year-old Candice Joy Cooper was placed under arrest by Texas Rangers, apparently under a Class B misdemeanor offense of making a false report to a peace officer. This followed a prank in which Barry orchestrated. During the prank the police department in Odessa raided a marijuana grow house, which actually did not exist.

According to the Sheriff's Office she is being held without bail. Her husband has left the area but has been in contact with his lawyers in an attempt to resolve the legal problems before he surrenders himself to authorities.

i met a guy in dui class that's friend got 15 yrs for pot, but another guy he knew got 10 yrs for murder....so i guess killing someone is not as bad as smoking something that grows natural, unless its taxed and can kill you! pray for the Coopers!

@whitewitchoz Sounds like a lot of excuses for wasting the time, effort, and attention of the individuals who protect your society. Some pot smokers are wonderfully calm and reasonable individuals. Many potheads however, use much harder drugs, or commit far worse crimes. I am sure your local law enforcement would be proud to have you as an officer. That way you can tend the flock directly, rather than just blindly fighting the system that protects you. Good luck to you!

@Kanthor420 Crooked cops should be fooled, tricked and discouraged from their crooked behavior....American citizens should feel responsible to act if the good cops won't bust the bad cops...How can you get proof unless you sting them like they stung you ? Too many good people who smoke pot have been hurt and victimized by law/drug enforcement who use the drug laws to rob,steal,kidnap,and even murder American citizens

It is not a law abiding citizen's responsibility to prank, trick or fool peace officers in any way. If you find that they have acted inappropriately in any way, get proof of that wrong doing and submit it to the courts. I have said in other vids, tricking the police into raiding a house puts lives in danger unnecessarily.
