Christianity is a great concept, If only people would put it into practice rather than claiming they are christian simply because they have read a book written by a roman council.

Their are none more hypocritical than those who claim to be christian. In all my years and in all my travels I have never once met a "christian" who actually practiced the faith. Not once.

yes God made us from the dirt but He and He alone breathed life into the dirt. the earth had nothing to do with us having life. the earth was created to support life. God created man in His image and set Him over His creation. if you wish to lower yourself to being "one" with inanimate matter - be my guest.

@fowzie777 The Bible says that man was made out of mud so the Earth would be our mother. If God created us all than we are one with already "one" with all that He created BECAUSE we all have the same creator.

the earth is not alive and not our "mother". we are not one with all living things. we were created in the image of God. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He said that He is, "the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by Me." Christ came to pay for our sins and to reconcile us to God. He alone gives true peace. He alone gives the new birth.
