Well, after 75 years of meeting tourists, going through the Great Depression, and staying happy through six American Wars, Cookie has earned a well-deserved retirement to the quieter caretaker room. Hard to believe he's the only surviving animal of the original zoo family from 1934. You must make sure he has a well-attended funeral after he's gone. He's earned it!
Speaking of which, did Cookie ever mate? And did he ever have offspring of his own?
