Clutch - The Incomparable Mr. Flannery - Collaboration Cover

First time (and second and third and fourth, and...) I heard Clutch was from being subscribed to mymassivehead's youtube channel and he does a lot of great covers of them on the guitar. I asked him a bit about them, he suggested a few albums, I bought them... and it's been the band I listen the most to for the past few months.

I'm very glad he asked me to do this collab with them. Got me into learning one song I was finding a bit intimidating.
Used just a little bit of hi-band overdrive from my ME-50B, leaving the bass alone and just overdriving the highs a bit. Mymassivehead told me the bassist (Dan Maines) uses a Rickenbacker and I can't imitate that tone on my Fender. So I just tried to come up with something fitting.

Had not heard much of drumfreakruss3 before this, and he's one very tight drummer. I hear it's not easy being tight playing drums along to a tune playing in your headphones.

And mymassivehead, well, I'm a fan... He did a great job both on the guitar tracks and on the audio/video editing.

aww man i would totally sing it, i love clutch and my band does a burning beard cover now and then. i don't sound like fallon, but i can sing it well in my own voice. who does sound like fallon anyway?

As for a full band cover, again, it was MyMassiveHead who asked me. if he asks me again, I'll do it!

Been listening to these guys since 1992 after 1st EP release. They have covered all the bases and have the only mosh pits I know of with people going crazy even when it is just a laid back bass line. I think Neil was abducted by aliens before and returned to share his new views on life. I have never played another album more times than their self titled "Clutch" album. Over a million plays to date on 4 CD's and 2 cassette tapes! 20 years now and I still love em! \../
