  • It was intresting to hear this, but also reassuring, so thank you! I'm 17 and I was diagnosed with Type 1 last Thursday. I, personally, feel blessed that I got it now as opposed to when I was a child. A lot of people with Type 1 don't seem to have that privliage. I remember the first morning after I was diagnosed not wanting to wake up thinking "I can't do this." But I did, and I'm trying hard to adjust to this and everything else that's going on in my life. It'll be hard but I think I can.

  • First, glad you didn't worry about the trolls, darlin'. You look beautiful, so don't even sweat it.

    Second, you handle yourself extremely well in front of a camera very well. You're very eloquent.

    Third, it got a little dusty in here listening to your story. Very inspiring, and thank you for sharing it.
