An Amtrak and a freight train (pulled by CP 8611) pass through Oakwood, Wisconsin on Canadian Pacific's C&M Subdivision. The Milepost 72.7 Defect Detector gives a readout for each train.

Technically, this is Oakwood *Road*; Oakwood is the crossover 2 1/2 miles south (RR east) of here.  Per engineer Marty, "The poorly-named crossover at 6 1/2 Mile Road."

@fuzzyworld3 The little community located around the crossing is actually Oakwood too. According to Google: Oakwood is a community or populated place (Class Code U4) located in Milwaukee County at latitude 42.8581 and longitude -87.9245.

@SuperTrainkid That's a WC Hayes bell. They just ring kind of randomly like that when the ring rate is adjusted lower.
