There's been a remarkable improvement in how our musicians try to bridge linguistic gaps in Nigerian music. In the past it was common for highlife musicians from one part of the country to do songs in languages other than theirs: Bala Miller, Rex Lawson, Adeolu Akinsanya, Eddy Okonta and Victor Olaiya. Christy Essien tried a lot more languages, including Swahili. But now such multiple tongues can occur in a single song, thanks largely to the infuence of Christian gospel music. Kudos!

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. I did not know Olu Maintain done it. Cool, well composed and well delivered(not loud or noisy). I remember 'ina sonki was the first Hausa we guys learnt in NYSC camp in Sokoto-1992.
I play this a lot on my MP3.I love the 1st line a lot.
Keep up the good entertaining work man-you are talented.
