They're vehicles! They're robots! They're cheap! They're brittle! And they're not even slightly genuine!
First up is an attempt to cash-in on the recent Thor movie. It's a pity that the astonishing quality of the fake packaging doesn't carry over to the toy itself, which is basically a collection of loose plastic parts held together by hope and ignorance.
Next up, a mere 25 years or so after their initial release, the bootleggers get to grips with the combiners - sets of small Transformers which join together to make a big lumpy-looking robot with cars for arms. Apparently the Constructicons are the most bootlegged of all Transformers toys, a fact backed up by my ownership of two different sets of differing colours and sizes...
And finally, we have some tiny robots that look dangerously like sweets. Far lazier than the other knock-offs, they are guaranteed to disappoint any child in the world. But as they effectively cost 17p each it's not surprising really.
The yellow constructicons and Thor were kindly donated by Darkdriver & a lovely man whose name I've forgotten. Sorry. (Other toys came from The Range and Poundland.)
