This video shows the how Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 performs as an eBook reader. We also take a look at what it looks like to read a Newspaper on the Samsung galaxy tab 7.7. I've got to say it looks very good and because it's so light in the hand it makes it the perfect device for reading while on the go or at home.

  • Yay, everyone got TAMING YOUR INNER ONLINE MENACE for free. I still use my old Galaxy Tab 7 for eReading :D

  • @JokoAsp Ah you recognise the free ebook? The old Tab 7 is still good for many things, including email, ebooks and browsing.

  • Thumps up :) would love to see more like the built in mail app,

  • @MrGadgetMe We will most probably run a few more segments once the OS upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich comes along. Stay tuned!

  • can you copy ebooks you already own from your computer to your samsung tablet through usb or anything? or do u have to buy them online through the tablet itself?

  • @RickkoD1982 Yes you can copy them. Easiest way is to put onto a micro SD and just slip that into the Micro SD Card slot.

  • @RitchiesRoomTV True. Too bad 7.7 is not available yet in my country. It's the best Galaxy Tab so far .

  • @RCracer777 I'd say the support would be dependent on the app, for example Droid Comic Viewer available through the Android Marketplace. Should be no reason why it wouldn't work on the 7.7, and it would be a great viewer given the screen quality.

  • Does it support manga (CBR, CBZ, ZIP) file types? and what type of video files does it support?

  • @lynxman76ph Start up time is around 25 seconds, but remember that these devices are for the most part used as "always on", and have very long stand by times. You only ever really need to actually shut down on a plane or a major system update. As far as 3D games, I haven't tested that but I would suggest something like the Asus Transformer Prime if gaming is your main interest. Fragmentation is being addressed by all these new tablets being upgraded to Android 4.0.
