very interesting interview. Rampini mentions Enrico Berlinguer. The latter was very much a democratic socialist rather than the emotional baggage to the term communist. In europe today very few people demonize the terms socialist or communist. When Berlinquer went to Moscow for an International Communist meeting, He told Brezhnev to "go f himself" publicly for suppressing and exploiting eastern europe even before the put down by Russians of the Prague Spring reforms.
