Here's the story:

So it was January 14, i walked over to ginger's cage and she was laying on her back squirming. I had no idea what was going on. She got off her back and started pulling herself around the cage, but i could tell she was really weak. But she was trying so hard to hold on. I knew then that this was the end. She kept pulling herself weakly for hours and hours. Sometimes she would just stop and take a break but i could see that she was still breathing. It was around 11 p.m. I didnt want to go to sleep because i knew that any moment might be her last. But i had to because i had to get up early the next morning. So i put her cage on a chair next to my bed. The next morning i woke up at 5. I looked over at her cage. I couldn't see her breathing... at all. I picked her up, nothing. I put her down.
12 minutes later i saw her move. She dragged herself a couple times and i could see her breathing... but barely. I was relieved, but sad, because i wanted her to let go, because i knew she was in pain and i just wanted it to be over. So finally, around 7:30, she was gone. I left her there. When i got back home, she hadn't moved at all so i knew it was all over.

: ( poor Ginger... i know how it feels to have your hamster fighting for thier little lives right infront of you... my hammie joey fought for maybe a month... i came home every day from school , expecting the worse... on april 9th 2007, Joey died in my dads hands at 7:44 pm. i left because i was so sad and upset when i came back downstairs i found out, whent to my dads office and saw him laying in a check box surrounded by white klenex. i whispered somthing to him and put flowers by his head.

i was crying that whole video because my hamster dyed 2 months ago! and the worst part about it was that her name was ginger to!i also called her gingie! : (

it just better knowing that there in a better place now with no more pain! and that they r telling u that its ok. P.S. my hamster died in my hands! i just woke up and went to check on her and i picked her up and she got a nose bleed and was gasping for breath! at 11:47pm! R.I.P Gingie!

@GingerandShadow Couldn't of had a worse death then my hamster. I kept him in the ball i had bought him some months before. He rode into the closet.I kept him in the closet (Its clean in there) i forgot him and i fell asleep. The next day when i remembered i had left him in the ball, the ball was open and i checked around to play with him.I saw him and gave him a slight tap with my shoe. he was eletricuted with about 7 volts.

My hamster is dying right now. Luna, 2 year old syrian female. She was just perfect, everytime I came back from school, she was waiting there for me. his morning she started dying. I stayed with her. I want her to be happy in her after life.
